World Cup: Group F preview and best bets

The 2022 World Cup is coming up. VSiN's soccer handicapper Nigel Seeley has picks, predictions and best bets for every group.

Belgium is the bookies favorite to win the group. Belgium came third in 2018 World Cup. The Belgians are second in FIFA rankings behind Brazil. They have never won a World or European Championship. In their last nine games, Belgium has lost twice, both to Netherlands.

Kevin De Bruyne is the best player in the EPL currently. He finished third in Ballon d'Or and comes into the World Cup in great form with his club Manchester City. De bruyne has 93 games for Belgium with 25 goals and is favorite for most assists at the tournament.

Belgium are playing a friendly against Belgium. Thibaut Courtois is a La Liga, Champions League and Super Cup winner. He has been in superb form at Real Madrid recently.

Belgium will win the group.

Croatia surprised many handicappers at the 2018 World Cup by reaching the final. Ivan Rakitic and Luka Modric are past their best and they are playing in their last World Cups.

Luka Modric is a key player for Spain at the World Cup. He played a big role in the La Liga and Champions League for Real Madrid last season.

Croatia peaked at the last World Cup and I don't expect them to do that again.

Canada is playing in the World Cup for the first time in 36 years. The team has only won two of their last seven games. Canada will host the 2026 World cup with the U.S. and Mexico.

Alphonso Davies is one of the fastest and most electric players in the world. Davies has only played 34 times for Canada, but has scored 12 times with him playing in a more attacking role for his national team than for Bayern Munich.

Canada will qualify for the knockout stages of the World Cup. Croatia are expected to qualify easily.

Morocco qualified for the World Cup after beating Botswana. It is Morocco's sixth time at the tournament. Morocco faces tough opposition in Group F.

Achraf Hakimi has played 53 times for Morocco and scored eight goals. Hakim plays for PSG in France. He was the main man at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Morocco will finish at the bottom in a close group.
