10 players putting up career-high scoring numbers

This season's offensive explosion has been fueled by superstars one-upping their previous seasons. Six players are currently averaging at least 30 points per game.

Doncic is the current NBA scoring leader with 34.2 points per game. He is averaging 11.4 attempts per contest, which is more than half the average of nine teams. His 37.7% usage rate leads the league.

Embiid is a league-leading scorer from the elbow, scoring 6.7 points per game. He takes a career-high 85.1% of his shots inside the arc.

Mitchell is playing with Darius Garland in Cleveland. Mitchell is Garland's favorite target. Garland has assisted on 50 of Mitchell's 371 made field goals this season. The most assisted Mitchell shots over an entire season in Utah was 60.

Brown is one of Boston's top wing players. He's in the league's Top 15 in paint points. Brown's 58.2% shooting clip on drives ranks eighth among the 56 players with at least 300 drives this season.

Markkanen is having an All-Star caliber season. He is shooting 52.4% overall and 41.1% from three-point range. His free throw attempts are doubled compared to last year. His usage rate is the lowest in the league.

Simons has come a long way from averaging 7.8 points per game two seasons ago to 22.2 points now. He has a full starting role with Damian Lillard and is the latest backcourt talent to blossom with the Blazers. His shot attempts have nearly tripled from two years ago and his 3-point tries have more than tripled. Simons ranks sixth in the league in makes per games.

Brunson is the second-leading scorer on his team. He has increased his usage to play a bigger role than Doncic. His efficiency from beyond the arc and at the free-throw line has improved. He is dropping a career-best 6.5 assists per game.
