2021 Preakness Stakes date, horses, predictions, odds: Expert who nailed prep races reveals bets, picks

The 2021 Preakness Stakes will be held on the third Saturday in May. There will only be 10,000 spectators at Pimlico Race Course. The field for the 2021 race is 10 horses, including Medina Spirit, who won the Kentucky Derby. Midnight Bourbon is the favorite at 5-2, Concert Tour at 4-1, France Go de Ina at 20- 1. Expert Bob Weir has been handicapping and following horse racing since the 1980s. He used the Beyer Speed Figure to his handicap. Last year, his first for SportsLine, he was on fire with his picks.

Medina Spirit won the Kentucky Derby and is among the favorites at 3-1 for the Preakness Stakes. He was scratched from the Peter Pan Stake in order to run at the 2021 Preaks. Risk Taking is a huge long shot at 12-5, but he finished 7th at Wood Memorial.   2021 Preakeries Stages are on May 21. The winner of the Triple Crown is going to be crowned in the winner's circle.
