The SEC had the most teams reach bowl eligibility this season. Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia will play in their respective New Year's Six bowl matchups.
No. 17 Oregon State takes on No. 6 Florida in Las Vegas Bowl. Florida's coach Billy Napier's team finished with a 6-6 record. The majority of the team's production has come from quarterback Anthony Richardson. Richardson opted out of this year's bowl game due to his entry into the 2023 NFL Draft. Oregon's defense is ranked third in the country in red zone defense.

Missouri ended the season on a high-note with a 29-27 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks. Wake Forest finished the year with an upset loss against the Duke Blue Devils. The Gasparilla Bowl will be played at Tropicana Field in Tampa, Florida.
Arkansas is playing in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl against Kansas. The Razorbacks lost their starting quarterback and several key players to injury. Arkansas will try to establish the run game with Raheim Sanders and find big plays against the Jayhawks defense.

Ole Miss is playing in the TaxAct Texas Bowl. Texas Tech is the favorite to win. Quinshon Judkins is leading the SEC in rushing yards this season. The Red Raiders' veteran secondary will have to shut down the Ole Miss rushing attack early.

No. 19 South Carolina plays No. 21 Notre Dame in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida. The Gamecocks finished the season with back-to-back wins over Tennessee and Clemson. Notre Notre finished with a 38-37 loss against USC.

No. 6 Tennessee and No. 7 Clemson are playing in the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida. Tennessee's star quarterback Hendon Hooker is injured and wide receiver Jalin Hyatt and Cedric Tillman are skipping the game. Clemson won the ACC Championship and is favored to win the contest.

No. 5 Alabama is playing in the Allstate Sugar Bowl against No. 9 Kansas State. The Wildcats won the Big 12 Championship game over TCU. Alabama's Bryce Young and Will Anderson Jr. are playing for the Crimson Tide.

No. 22 Mississippi State plays Illinois in ReliaQuest Bowl in Tampa, Florida. The game is in honor of late coach Mike Leach. Illinois broke a three-game losing streak and ended the season with a 41-3 win over Northwestern.
