2022 Jack's World Series of Darts Finals preview
The 2022 Jack's World Series of Darts Finals starts on Friday in Amsterdam. The 24-player event will take place from September 16-18. Jonny Clayton is defending his title, but he will play either Simon Whitlock or Danny Noppert. The winner will receive £300,000 in prize money.
Clayton is the top seed in this year's World Series Finals. He defeated Dimitri Van den Bergh to win the title last year. Michael van Gerwen is one of four Dutch stars returning to home soil this weekend. Peter Wright will headline Friday’s opening night. The winner of the all-Australian clash between Damon Heta and Gordon Mathers will play Michael Smith. The US Darts Masters champion wants to recapture the form that saw him win five titles in as many weeks earlier this summer.
Jack's World Series of Darts Finals starts on Friday, September 16. The tournament will be broadcast live on ITV3 and ITV4 in the UK and on PDC's worldwide broadcast partners. The quarter-finals take place on Sunday afternoon, before the semi-final and final take places in Amsterdam. There are eight seeds in each draw. They are: Danny Baggish, Ryan Joyce, Gordon Mathers, Damon Heta, Michael Smith, Fallon Sherrock, Peter Wright, Jonny Clayton, Vincent van der Voort, Matt Campbell, Gary Anderson, Leonard Gates and Devon Petersen.
