Gypsy Goddess won the Group 1 Queensland Oaks under jockey William Pike. David Vandyke had a drug addiction and moved to the Sunshine State in 2016. He was reduced to tears when Gypsy Godess gave her rivals a galloping lesson in the Oaks. Vandalke won two Group One races with Yankee Rose and once with Alligator Blood. Willie Pike took off early at Eagle Farm. He is the baron of Brisbane.

Gypsy Goddess won the Queensland Oaks at Eagle Farm. It was Willie Pike's first win since moving from Perth to Sydney. He had a lapful of horses. Gypsy goddess had won four from four races at the Eagle farm. She was the $4.40 favourite. David Vandyke and Willie won.
Gypsy Goddess won the Oaks. Barb Raider was second favourite. Queensland jockey Brad Stewart was suspended for 20 days for careless riding in The Phoenix. He will ride Soxagon in next Saturday’s Stradbroke Handicap.
