2023 MLB Draft lottery odds

The order of the top six Draft picks will be determined by lottery in 2023. The teams with the three worst records in 2022 have the best chance to get the No. 1 overall pick. All 18 non-playoff teams will have a chance of getting the first pick, except for the team with highest winning percentage.

1. Nationals (55-107), 16.5 pct. 2. A's (60-102), A’s (62-100), Pirates (63-99), Reds (64-97), Royals (65-96), Tigers (66- 96), Rangers (68-94), 5.508 pcec, Rockies (69-93), Marlins (73-89), Angels ( 73- 89), D-backs (74-88), 1.4012, Cubs ( 74- 88), 1013, Red Sox (78-84), 0.7615, White Sox (81-81), Giants (83-79), Orioles (79-83), and 0:36.

The MLB Draft takes place in Seattle next July. The first pick is subject to a lottery. Teams that receive revenue-sharing payouts can't receive a top-six pick for more than two years in a row. If the Nationals get the No. 1 pick, it will be the first time they had the 1st pick since 2010. A's last had a No 1 draft pick in 1965. Royals have only picked 1-1 once in franchise history. MLB Pipeline recently put Indiana prep outfielder Max Clark atop its high school prospects list and Louisiana State outfielder Dylan Crews at No1 on the college list.
