2023 NBA championship odds: The updated odds after trade deadline

The NBA saw plenty of high-profile players moved on Thursday as teams across the league made their final moves for the remainder of the season ahead of the trade deadline.

Of course, Kyrie Irving escalated the process on Friday after requesting a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. He was quickly traded after the Nets opted to send him to the Dallas Mavericks for Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith and draft picks just two days later.

Then, the Nets shocked the league after they reportedly agreed to trade former Most Valuable Player Kevin Durant to the Phoenix Suns for a package of players and picks. Durant became expendable once Irving was moved to Dallas.

Elsewhere, there was plenty of other action on Thursday with most teams executing at least one trade before the 3 p.m. EST deadline. The course of events proved one of the busiest trade deadlines in recent memory with dozens of players changing teams.
