Russell Henley is going to play at the 2023 World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba. He won the 2013 Sony Open and lost in a playoff to Matsuyama in last year's Sony Championship. DraftKings lists Henly with the sixth-best odds despite his uninspiring performance at last week's Sentry Tournament of Champions. Henie ranks sixth in my KPI-model.

Si Woo Kim is a value play at Waialae. He finished fourth at the 2016 Sony Open and is ninth in my KPI-model over the last 50 rounds. Kim finished second in the 2018 RBC Heritage and 14th in 2016 R BC Heritage.

Keegan Bradley is 10th in my Sony Open power rankings and third on my KPI-model. Maverick McNealy is 32nd in power and 70th on numbers. Bradley fits more trends of recent Sony winners.

Sungjae Im is the No. 1 overall power-ranked golfer in the Sony Open field. Tom Kim is third in this field and has never played in a golf tournament. DraftKings has Kim as the favorite to win the tournament, but Draft Kings lists Im with the second-best odds.
