Sony Open is the first full-field PGA Tour event of 2023. It will be played at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii. Collin Morikawa blew a six-shot 54-hole lead at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Jon Rahm won the tournament. Hideki Matsuyama won last year's Sony Open. He's the fourth choice with +1800 odds.

Tom Kim is the favorite to win the Sony Open. Jordan Spieth is playing this event for the first time since 2019. Hideki Matsuyama is looking to become the the second golfer since Jimmy Walker (2014-15) to won back-to-back Sony Opens.
