McDonald is backing Tom Kim at the Sony Open at Waialae Country Club. He's also fading Jordan Spieth. Kim won on a similar course at Harbour Town last April. McDonald says Waiaia is an ideal statistical fit for Kim. He has 11 worldwide wins since 2018 and is the highest-ranked player in the field.
