5 Must-Watch Group Of Five Games In Week 5

Conference play is ramping up across college football, including the Group of Five level. I'll try to highlight five G5 games every week for GFive fans.

Tulane followed up its win over Kansas State with a loss to Southern Miss. Houston looks shaky this season, but the Cougars can put up points. The winner of this game stands a decent chance of being in AAC title contention.

Troy and Western Kentucky are playing in the Group of Five in Week 5. Troy is 3-1 and defeated Marshall 16-7 last weekend. Western Kentuckian is also 3 and their only loss was against Indiana.

Middle Tennessee returns home after a thumping of Miami. UTSA was stellar last season and is a contender to win the C-USA title this season.

Georgia Southern and Coastal Carolina are the only two undefeated Group of Five teams. Georgia Southern upset Nebraska this season. Coastal Carolinians are one of the most successful teams in the Sun Belt.

UCF is 3-1 on the season after a 27-10 win over Georgia Tech. UCF and SMU are both short favorites in a game that could feature plenty of scoring.
