Virginia comes into this game firmly in the top ten of the AP Poll and at 16-3 overall. However, the Cavaliers won’t be complacent, as they still trail Clemson by one game in the loss column atop the ACC standings.

However, Syracuse shot 8/14 (57.1 percent), and Virginia shot 12/26 (46.2 percent) from beyond the arc. It’s very unlikely that both teams shoot well above their season average again.

Lastly, Virginia’s offense is much better against man-to-man defenses than against zone this season.
