76ers coach Doc Rivers says Reed, Harrell, and Tucker will back up Embiid
Paul Reed, Montrezl Harrell, and P.J. Tucker will back up Joel Embiid in the 2022-23 season. Joel and James Harden missed the game against the Brooklyn Nets. Julian Champagnie played well, scoring 15 points and getting 7 rebounds. The 76ers have top-10 odds of winning the championship in 2023.
Paul Reed, Montrezl Harrell, and P.J. Tucker will serve as backup centers behind Joel Embiid. In July, Champagnie signed a two-way contract with the 76ers. He went undrafted out of St. John’s. He might be better off playing with Delaware Blue Coats, the Sixers” G League affiliate.
