Tulane Green Wave hosts the Central Florida Golden Knights in the 2022 American Athletic Conference championship game on Saturday, December 3 at Yulman Stadium in New Orleans. The game will be live streamed via fubo TV. Tulane is 10-2 this season, while Central Floridian is 9-3. UCF beat Tulan 38-31 on Nov. 12 in their regular season game. UCf coach Gus Malzahn is confident his team can win the title. It's the first time in conference history that a team has won the championship on the road after having won on same field in same season.

Georgia Tech hired interim coach Brent Key as coach of Tulane. Coach Willie Fritz is staying at Tulana. Tulano and Central Florida are playing in the AFC Championship game on December 3.

John Rhys Plumlee is injured and it's unclear if he'll play for UCF this week. Mikey Keene could replace him. If he plays, he would lose a year of eligibility. Tulane and UCf are on the verge of a championship.

Tulane's defense had its worst performance this season against UCF last month. UCf rushed for 336 yards and had 468 yards of total offense. Tulane has the top-ranked defense in the conference.

Tulane hasn't been to a New Year's Six bowl since losing 14-13 to Texas A&M on Jan. 1, 1940. UCF has been in three New Years Six bowls since the 2013 season.
