AC Milan 'set to open contract talks with Chelsea target Rafael Leao'

AC Milan are preparing to open contract talks with Rafael Leao. The Serie A side want to tie him down to a new deal before the World Cup. Chelsea were interested in signing Leão in the summer, but they were rejected by Milan.

AC Milan want Rafael Leao to sign a new contract with the club before the World Cup. Chelsea wanted to bring him to the Premier League in the summer, but Milan refused to pay his £130m release clause. PSG are interested in signing Leão. Manchester City and PSV are also monitoring the situation.  Leao won Serie A last season and was named SerieA MVP. He scored 11 goals in all competitions. Leo is currently in Qatar with Portugal. His contract expires in 2024. Milan's final game before domestic season pauses is at home to Fiorentina on November 13.
