The delayed 2021 Africa Cup of Nations reaches the quarter-final stage on Saturday. Host nation Cameroon have sailed through their home event so far. The Gambia are their next opponents in Douala. Burkina Faso and Tunisia play in the late kick off in Garoua.

Cameroon are on track to win their home Africa Cup of Nations. They will play Gambia in the first quarter-final in Douala on Saturday. Comoros Islands were forced to play without any recognised goalkeepers and their coach due to a combination of Covid-19 and injury. Eight people died and many were injured in a crush outside the Paul Biya Stadium. Gambian striker Musa Barrow scored the winner against Guinea.

Burkina Faso and Tunisia are playing in the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final on January 29 2022. Tunisia beat Nigeria in a penalty shootout in Round of 16. Burkina Fasso beat Gabon on penalties in last 16 in Limbe.
