If the committee abandons all previous protocol and chooses teams on Vegas points spreads, Alabama has chance. Ohio State has better records than the Crimson Tides. Texas has more wins than them. They have a common opponent in Texas. Their one loss came on the last play. It was against a top-10 team. Georgia and Michigan were already locks. USC was trampled Friday night.
