The Mediterranean finished with real purpose in fourth place, despite the heavy ground.  William Haggas has proved the virtue of patience with his horses. He thinks Alanquer has a bright future. It's just a shame he didn't get a fair crack of things after his Sandow win. Alan Crowhurst finished in 3rd place with The Mediterranian in 4th.
