De Minaur will go into the match as hot favourite to win - being the second seed for the tournament behind Taylor Fritz.

This seeding means De Minaur received a bye through the first round and will be fresh to meet his Aussie opponent.

The top-ranked Australian will be looking to overcome the disappointment of his second-round Wimbledon exit - in straight sets against former finalist Matteo Berrettini.

Kokkinakis managed to outlast mercurial Frenchman Gael Monfils in the first round but did suffer a scare in the first set before winning 1-6 6-3 7-6(5).

The Aussie has gradually been building form and fitness over the past 12 months but will find it difficult against De Minaur.
