All-Star Fiesta in Minnesota: Liga MX, MLS to run it back

The Liga MX All-Stars are in St. Paul, Minnesota, for the All Star Game and Skills Challenge. Last year, the gala event was held at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. This year's event is being held in Allianz Field, home of MLS side Minnesota United FC.

For Liga MX, Kevin Álvarez, Juan Escobar, Erik Lira, Víctor Guzmán, Alexis Vega and Kai Wagner are repeat players from last season's All Star Game. Seattle Sounders striker Raúl Ruidíaz, LA Galaxy right back Julián Araujo, Nashville SC central defender Walker Zimmerman and Philadelphia Union goalie Andre Blake are making their second consecutive appearance with the MLS All Stars.

The MLS All-Star roster is worth more than the opponents by $1 million. Last year the MLS roster enjoyed a $33 million advantage. The players on the team are valued at $110.83 million, while their opponents are worth $109.89 million on Transfermarkt.

All-Star Fiesta in Minnesota will take place on July 14th. Minnesota United FC coach Adrian Heath will be in charge of the MLS squad. Last year's MVP Matt Turner now plays for Arsenal in the EPL.
