Always In The Picture!

CandieseLenferna won the Equus still photography award for the second year running at last Wednesday's 'oscars' in Johannesburg. She was also the recipient of the 2018 Anita Akal Industry Award. Her husband Warren Lenfrena received the award in the same category for broadcasting.

Candiese Lenferna won the Equus still photography award for the second year running. Her husband Warren Len fern was awarded the Anita Akal Industry Award for broadcasting. The couple have two daughters Mia and Julia. Candieses was born and raised in Yellowwood Park, Durban. She is proud to have her image on this week's SPRINT cover. The photo is of the newly-crowned EquuHorse of The Year Captain’s Ransom.

Candiese won the Award for the second time this year. She entered at the last minute after a colleague encouraged her.

Candiese is involved in social media work and event organising across various platforms. She started working for the KZN Breeders Club in 2011 and her career took off from there. Candieses loves Thoroughbreds, racing and breeding. She also loves photography. Her husband Warren is a keen horseman. He has converted two of his neighbours into betting customers. They are very happy with him. His neighbours are also happy to listen to his racing. The neighbours complain about his loud shouting. One neighbour nearly called the police.

Candiese has taught herself how to watch the TV on the inside track and photograph at the same time.

All her effort, dedication and hard work is evident in the work she has produced.
