Anamoe given the all clear
Anamoe was graded three-out-of-five lame after his victory in the Group 1 George Main Stakes (1600m) at Randwick on Saturday. Godolphin trainer James Cummings wants to see how Anamo performs in Caulfield Stake (2000m), before committing him to the Cox Plate. The horse is the $3.50 favourite with TAB. The next race along the path towards the group 1 Cox plate is at Moonee Valley on October 22. It's possible Anamee could also run in Might And Power Staking at Caufield two weeks later.
