Andrew Tate has been banned from social media for his views on women. Jake Paul has defended Tate's right to free speech. Tate claims to have had a difficult childhood in Chicago and moved to Luton after his parents' divorce. He was bullied for being American and for not knowing the curriculum. His YouTube videos have become popular and his name has a hashtag with 13 billion views. He rose to fame on Big Brother in 2016 but was removed from the show after a video surfaced online showing him attacking a woman with a belt. The woman in question insisted it was consensual. A number of campaign groups have criticised Mr Tate for the views he has expressed.
