Angels vs. Blue Jays prediction and odds for Sunday, July 30 (Toronto offense in line for big outing)

The Blue Jays look to complete a series sweep of the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday in hopes of separating from another Wild Card hopeful.

Toronto will start Jose Berrios in this one while the Angles counter with Tyler Anderson, who struggled against the Blue Jays in his lone start against the club this season. Can Toronto find similar success on Sunday?

Here are the odds and our best bet:

The Blue Jays have been a dangerous team against left handed pitching all season. The team is fifth in batting average against southpaws, .270 on the year. Toronto should have a big day at the dish against Anderson, who couldn't get out of the fifth inning last time against the Blue Jays, allowing five earned runs on seven hits back in April.

The Angels are going to give Anderson a quick hook due to his volatile pitching, he has a 5.23 ERA on the year and averages about five innings per start. If he struggles again it will be up to Los Angeles' bottom 10 bullpen ERA to hold off a strong Blue Jays lineup.

I'm going to avoid getting involved with the full game outcome and simply bank on the Blue Jays offense to stay hot in the series finale.
