AO Preview: Swiatek is the clear favourite for women’s singles title
Aga Swiatek is the clear favourite for the Australian Open women's singles title. Emma Raducanu is fit to play the first round on Monday. Ajla Tomljanovic and Paula Badosa have withdrawn from the tournament. Leolia Jeanjean and Laura Pigossi will play as Lucky Losers. Sofia Kenin is favourite to win the title, unless Victoria Azarenka fails to perform. She is pregnant and is injured. There are also Ash Barty, Serena Williams, and an injured Venus Williams. The tournament starts on January 15th. World No 1 Iga swiateck plays Jule Niemeier in the opening round.
