Around The Tracks: A tip for each meeting on New Year's Day

Timeform provide a tip for each of the eight meetings due to take place in Britain and Ireland on New Year's Day.

Weveallbeencaught is making his hurdles debut at Cheltenham. He came third in the Hyde Novices' Hurdle in November. School Days Over and Gentle Slopes failed to meet market expectations starting out over timber.

Warm In Gorey finished runner-up at Clonmel on handicap debut. Trsihknowbest is an obvious danger. Dontlettheoldmanin is open to improvement now switched to handicaps.

Stattler takes on Tramore at 14:15. Stattl's stablemate Minella Indo is the 2021 Cheltenham Gold Cup winner. Cilaos Emery and El Barra are also in the match.

Mayfair Gold is meeting Southwell on New Year's Day at 14:16. Deep Sigh, Recorwoman and Queen of Burgundy are other options.

Lady Kk goes from the same mark as when she finished second over C&D in November. Jeremy Scott's mare appeals as the one to beat. Southern Sam is also respected alongside recent Hereford winner Party Fuzz.

Carrigdoun Boy is the favourite for the Fakenham meeting on New Year's Day. Irish Hill is also a threat. Mayhem Mya and Kihavah are also fancied to go well.

Tom Creen is going to Catterick for a training session on New Year's Day. Skyhill is a danger on the back of his success at the same course last time. Maid of Houxty shouldn't be dismissed.

Ilanz is going to Musselburgh. Benson has filled the runner-up spot on all three starts for this yard so far. Holmes St Georges and Findthetime are also in the running.
