Arsenal overlooked, Liverpool overhyped: pre-season predictions revisited for Christmas

Arsenal was overlooked in the pre-season predictions. Liverpool were overhyped. Newcastle did not make it to the Champions League. Not one expert predicted all the current bottom three to be there. The only team in current top four was three. The rest were either Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United or Bournemouth. Six of the 10 did NOT pick any of Nottingham Forest, Southampton or Wolves. Only one person predicted one of them. Johnny stuck Southampton's name out there and predicted it. Everyone but Ian Stead said Fulham. John Nicholson predicted Bognemouth, but only one other person did.
