Arsenal XI beaten by Leeds 19 years ago to hand title to Man Utd

Arsenal and Leeds United will meet on Sunday. Arsenal have won all their previous meetings with Leeds. The last time Leeds beat Arsenal was in May 2003. Leeds won late in the day to keep their Premier League status. They were chasing Manchester United. Thierry Henry scored in their last meeting in 2012. They also won the FA Cup in 2013. In Leeds' final year in Premier league they lost 4-1 at Elland Road and 5-0 at Highbury.

Arsenal XI were beaten by Leeds 19 years ago. David Seaman left Highbury and joined Manchester City. He retired in 2004 at the age of 40. Since then he has appeared on Strictly Come Dancing and Family Fortunes.

Kolo Toure played for Arsenal, Liverpool and Celtic. He moved to Leicester in 2019 and is still working with Brendan Rodgers.

Oleg Luzhny retired in 2005 with 52 caps for Ukraine. He is now serving in active duty for his country on the frontline.

Martin Keown played for Arsenal for one season in 2003. He retired in 2005. Ke Own has been a pundit for the BBC and BT Sport since then.

Ashley Cole played for Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton. He has become a coach working with Frank Lampard.

Sylvain Wiltord left Arsenal in 2004 and is now a sports consultant. He scored the goal which sealed the title in 2002. In 2015 he competed on French reality TV show 'Dropped'.

Gilberto Silva left Arsenal in 2008 and moved to Greece. He was appointed director of football at Panathinaikos in 2016, but left by mutual consent. Gilberto has his own football podcast called the ‘Invisible Wall’ and an online shop.

Ray Parlour retired in 2007. He is now a pundit for Setanta Sports and a business owner. Parle has written a book and appeared in an ITV series called Harry's Heroes.

Robert Pires retired from football in 2015. He is a former Arsenal player and coach. Pire has been voted one of the top 10 players in Arsenal's history.

Dennis Bergkamp is being inducted into the Premier League's Hall of Fame in May 2021. He is also being honoured with a statue outside of the Emirates Stadium.
