SportsLens Head of News Lee Astley said: “Fans have long rumoured Arsenal star Eddie Nketiah to be the footballer behind Dide, suggesting that ‘Dide’ is an anagram of ‘Eddi’ alongside suggestive lyrics such as ‘my team stay winning’ and ‘every game is like a final’.

“Others have lined up Dide’s tattoos and think it could be Cardiff City winger Sheyi Ojo, who left Liverpool on a permanent transfer last year – suggesting ‘Thrill’ could have been recorded some time ago before being released in April.
