Atlanta Braves players set to become free agents after the 2022 Season

The World Series is tied at two games a piece. All players with expiring contracts become free agents after the World series. The current team can extend a qualifying offer to a player for $19.65 million.

The Atlanta Braves have done a great job of signing players to extensions. They have some flexibility to make some moves this year, but they don't have a lot of free agents. Dansby Swanson's future is the key question of the entire offseason.

Dansby Swanson is a free agent after the 2022 season. He is expected to reject the qualifying offer from the Braves. The Athletic’s Keith Law thinks he should get at least $30 million a year. I am leaning towards him coming back to the team.

Kenley Jansen signed a one-year contract with the Braves. He was good during some key series late that helped the team win another NL East title. Raisel Iglesias came to the club at the trade deadline. Kenley is 35 and looked like a guy at his age during stretches in the second half of the season.

Adam Duvall is available for the Braves. DuVall made north of $9 million last year. Marcell Ozuna and Eddie Rosario are still under contract. In that case, the team would have to move Ozun to get some of his contract paid down.

Jake Odorizzi is a free agent. He has a player option with a significant buyout. His time with the Braves did not go well.

Luke Jackson is a right-handed pitcher who has been a good bullpen player for the Braves. He had Tommy John surgery in 2022 and is expected to be out for a while. Luke is free agent after the 2022 season.

Robbie Grossman is heading for free agency. He was a good player for the Braves but didn't find consistent success.

Jesse Chavez is a good player for the Braves. He is getting older but he will probably return to the team in 2023.

Ehire Adrianza is a bench utility option for the Atlanta Braves. He is under contract through the 2024 season. Ozzie Albies is expected to be back and fully healthy next year.

Darren O'Day missed most of the season with a calf injury. He is 40 years old and has had injuries off and on for the last few years.
