Atlanta FaZe enter this match as 1.57 favourites to defeat Toronto Ultra, who are priced as 2.25 underdogs. This offer isn't too shocking, knowing Atlanta FaZe's history at the Majors; however, having Ultra priced as such big underdogs might not be fair.
- Atlanta FaZe have won three of their last four meetings with Toronto Ultra
- Toronto Ultra needed five maps to defeat New York Sublibers in round one
- Atlanta FaZe are fresh off a 3-0 sweep of the Las Vegas Legion
Atlanta FaZe and Toronto Ultra have met six times this season, and four of those six meetings ended with FaZe winning.
- Toronto Ultra 3-2 Atlanta FaZe – December 10, 2022
- Atlanta FaZe 3-1 Toronto Ultra – December 17, 2022
- Atlanta FaZe 3-0 Toronto Ultra – February 4, 2023
- Toronto Ultra 3-1 Atlanta FaZe – March 12, 2023
- Atlanta FaZe 3-1 Toronto Ultra – April 8, 2023
- Atlanta FaZe 3-2 Toronto Ultra – April 22, 2023
However, despite not showing anything exceptional in the qualifiers, FaZe didn't disappoint in their CDL Major 5 round one game, when they swept Las Vegas Legion (3-0) with 250-179 on Embassy – Hardpoint, 6-1 on El Asilo S&D, and 3-1 on El Asilo – Control.
Beating the Legion doesn't guarantee that FaZe will perform well against top teams, but they are undeniably in excellent form ahead of the clash against Toronto Ultra.
No roster changes announced by FaZe.

In the opening round of CDL Major 5, Ultra had to dig deep to defeat New York Subliners and not only did they do it; Ultra actually won map five – which hasn't happened in a very long time. I wouldn't overreact to it; however, defeating New York Subliners shows how good Toronto Ultra are.
I would prefer to see them win with at least 3-1 to feel very confident in Toronto Ultra's chances to defeat FaZe, but it's not like I have any solid reason to doubt they can do it.
Toronto won't make any changes to its lineup.
