Avalanche Morning Skate Diary: Opening Night Lineup And JoJo BACK AGAIN
The Colorado Avalanche are playing their opening game. The last game was on June 26th. Ben Meyers made the team out of camp. The third Stanley Cup banner will be raised in the rafters of Ball Arena prior to the game, as it has been 21 years since the last one got raised.
Meyers has switched from center to wing. He is willing to play any forward position position as long as he is here.
Jonas Johansson was claimed off of waivers from the Arizona Coyotes. He will be sent to the Colorado Eagles. Lukas Sedlak and coach Jared Bednar won the Calder Cup Championship in 2016 with the Lake Erie Monsters. Trent Miner will go to ECHL Utah Grizzlies to make room.
