Ayrshire rock festival set to boost town with pub and local food outlet providing refreshments
Winter Storm rock festival will hit Troon on the weekend of November 25 to 27th. The festival is expected to bring in at least £1.5 million to the local economy. Pub and food outlet will provide refreshments. There will be 35 acts on two stages, including an indie/punk selection of Big Country, From the Jam and The Skids. Local charities will benefit from the event. The Harbour Bar will serve the bars and Scran will prepare the food. Kitesurfers will take part in the beach clean. RNLI will run the cloakroom. Last year the sea lifesavers coined in an incredible £5,000 in donations from hanging up rows of denim and leather.
