Hewick won the bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown. He was bought for €850 in 2017. His trainer, Paddy Power, wants to extend the celebrations. Hewick was introduced at 33-1 by Paddys Power for the Randox Grand National. He won't handle soft ground but he's a tough little horse. The horse's not the fastest but has plenty of gears. TJ McDonald's horse won a feature handicap at the track. It's his biggest win. "I can't believe he won so well," said McDonald. There were some bets on Hewicks during the week. McDonald didn't have a penny on him.
