BC Women’s Hockey vs. #8 Quinnipiac: Final Thoughts & Predictions

The Boston College Women's Hockey team is playing the second highest ranked team on their schedule, Quinnipiac Bobcats. Last year Quinnipsiac advanced to the national tournament and took the #1 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes to double overtime. Quinnippiac lost one of their top eleven scorers to graduation but they have a grad student who played in 15 games last year.

No. 15 Boston College Eagles (1-0-1, 0- 0 -0 WHEA) play at No. 8 Quinnipiac Bobcats (2-2, 1-3 ECAC).

BC Women's Hockey is playing Quinnipiac. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+. ECAC and Hockey East have the same league-wide deal to show games on "The Más".

Quinnipiac started their season with a close 3-2 win over Maine in their first game of the season. Boston College played one game on their opening weekend and they took a 4-1 win against Franklin Pierce.

There is hope that last year's defensive problems have been fixed, but it's the first game of the year against a quality team that will give us a real early look into whether the problems are fixed or if it will be more of same story.
