Behind the scenes with Presidents Cup captain Mike Weir

Mike Weir was introduced as the 2024 International Team Presidents Cup captain. He was the first Canadian to play in the competition. Weir hasn't played hockey since 1999. The International team pocket square he received at the matches in September peeked out of his blazer. He is still very fit and recognizable as ever. His brothers played the game growing up. They talk hockey more than golf. Mike was in a suite at Montreal's game against San Jose Sharks. It was his first time watching the team. There were many Canadian players present. Adam Hadwin, Mackenzie Hughes, Corey Conners, Nick Taylor, Taylor Pendrith, Lorie Kane, Alena Sharp, Graham DeLaet, Ernie Els and Trevor Immelman were on the ice.
