The International Team is playing the Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow this week. The United States is favored to win the 30-match event by 6.5 matches. Trevor Immelman is captain of the International team. The International roster has been decimated by defections to LIV Golf. It is a pity for Trevor. He is well-liked out here. Greg Norman is the other captain. They are playing at the same venue. There are 10 players ranked in the top 16 in world golf. U.S. is 11th in rankings. American players have an average rank of 11.6.

Adam Scott is playing for the International Team in the Presidents Cup this week. It's his 10th Presidents cup, but he's yet to win a trophy. The International team has a higher ranking than the American team. Scott hopes to push the Americans to the limit this time.   The team is made up of 12 PGA Tour players. They have combined to play in six Presidents Cups. Matsuyama has made four appearances. Patrick Cantlay, Tony Finau, Kevin Kisner, Xander Schauffele, Jordan Spieth, and Justin Thomas have made three appearances each. Collin Morikawa and Scottie Scheffler are holdovers from last year's Ryder Cup team, while Collins Morikow and Schefler were part of the team that won the tournament.
