Beren Much the Best in De Francis Dash

Beren won the De Francis Dash at Laurel Park. Beren was second in each of his last three races but never by more than a length. The race was part of the Mid-Atlantic Thoroughbred Championship Series. The series features four stakes worth $450,000 in purses. There was also the $100,00 Alma North and both the $ 100, 000 Prince George’s County and $ hundred thousand Big Dreyfus. It was the 31st running of DeFrancis for 3-year-olds and up.
