Best NBA prop bets today for Grizzlies vs. Suns (Fade Mikal Bridges)

The Phoenix Suns are spiraling without Devin Booker, 2-8 in their last 10 and now 11th in the West.

It won’t get any easier for Phoenix on Monday as they face the No. 1 seed in the West in the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizz are on a nine game winning streak, but we don’t have confirmation that Ja Morant or Jaren Jackson Jr. will play in this one. With that uncertainty, is there value elsewhere on betting props?

I have two unders that I am on for this Western Conference meeting:

Steven Adams UNDER 11.5 Rebounds (-104)

The Grizzlies are an awesome rebounding team, tops in the league in rebounding rate, but the Suns are no slouch either, top 10 with big man Deandre Ayton manning the paint.

Adams’ recent rebounding numbers are inflated by a few weeks ago when he grabbed 23 boards in Memphis’ win against the Kings. He is averaging more than 14 rebounds per game in January due to that massive game, but the other three months of the season he is hanging around 10 or 11 rebounds.

With Ayton inside, Adams could be more prone to foul trouble as well, but either way I think it’s start to playing against him and go under with such an inflated total.

Mikal Bridges UNDER 16.5 Points (-104)

The loss of Booker to a groin injury has been felt by the Suns, but it hasn’t led to an uptick in volume for some like Bridges, who is not a shot creator but more of a play finisher off the attention Booker gets.

Bridges shot attempts has gone down in January by about one shot from December. He is averaging about a half-point less this month as he has become more of a facilitator instead of a scorer, which is leading me to his under points.

The Grizzlies have the best defense in the league and that’s only going to make life harder for Bridges, so I’ll take the under on his points.
