Best NBA prop bets today for Knicks vs. Suns (Knicks undervalued in first quarter)

The New York Knicks and Phoenix Suns face off for the second and final time this season, but this time New York will have to face Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, who missed the first meeting. 

Still, there could be some value in the prop market on the Knicks, who are still hurting a bit from the loss of Mitchell Robinson for the season.

Jusuf Nurkic OVER 10.5 rebounds

The Knicks are missing Robinson, and Nurkic has been a monster on the glass as of late, picking up 22 and 13 rebounds in his last two games. 

New York doesn’t have the bodies to throw at Nurkic after Isaiah Hartenstein, and the Suns big man had 10 boards against the Knicks with Robinson healthy earlier this season. 

I’ll take the OVER for him tonight. 

New York Knicks First Quarter Spread +1.5 (-112) vs. Phoenix Suns

The Knicks are one of the better road teams in the NBA this season, especially in the first quarter. 

New York is No. 5 in the NBA in road first quarter net rating, coming in at an impressive +10.5. This is meaningful since the Suns are just 19th in the NBA in home first quarter net rating at +2.0. 

I think New York, who plays its big guns for most of the first quarter on a nightly basis, could take an early lead tonight. 

Jalen Brunson OVER 3.5 rebounds

The last time these teams matched up, Brunson grabbed six rebounds, and he’s picked up four or more boards in 11 or 23 games this season. 

Yet, he’s set at plus money – +120 at DraftKings – to hit the OVER tonight. 

With Robinson out, it’s all hands on deck for the Knicks on the glass. Don’t be shocked if Brunson clears this number after a seven-rebound game against Utah.
