Best NBA prop bets today for Timberwolves vs. Heat

The Minnesota Timberwolves will take a trip down to South Beach tonight as they wrap up their two-game season series against the Miami Heat. The T'Wolves got the better of the Heat on Oct. 28 as Minnesota won 106-90 in front of their home fans.

Anthony Edwards is coming off a spectacular game against the Pacers over the weekend and will try to put on a show tonight in Miami.

I have two Timberwolves props and a Heat prop that bettors should consider adding to their card for tonight's NBA action.

Anthony Edwards OVER 23.5 points

Edwards is coming off a tremendous performance against the Pacers on Saturday night, scoring 37 points on an efficient 14-of-23 shooting from the field and 7-of-10 from three-point range.

The Pacers’ defense had no answers for the 22-year-old shooting guard, who didn’t play well a couple of nights prior against the Mavericks (nine points on 3/18 FG). Edwards will hope to build off that performance against the Heat tonight, who have had issues stopping opposing SGs this season despite having Jimmy Butler.

In the Timberwolves’ first matchup against the Heat, Edwards scored 19 points (7-15 FG, 3-5 3pt) in a 16-point win. Edwards has gone OVER 23.5 points in four out of his last 10 games, but he had two other games with at least 23 points.

Jimmy Butler OVER 10.5 rebounds + assists

With Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo ready to play, it should free up Jimmy Butler to impact tonight’s game in other facets.

In his last 10 games, Butler is averaging 5.7 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game. He’s also gone OVER 10.5 rebounds and assists five times within that span.

Minnesota doesn’t give up a lot of boards to the small forward spot, which makes sense as they have Edwards, Rudy Gobert, and Karl-Anthony Towns. However, the assist opportunities will be there for Butler as the Heat will not have Kyle Lowry.

Mike Conley OVER 5.5 assists

For my last play in tonight’s game, I’ll take a shot on Conley assists prop, who is dishing out 7.4 assists per game in his last 10 games. The veteran point guard has gone OVER 5.5 assists eight times over that span.

In the Heat’s last five games, opposing point guards are averaging 8.4 assists per game. In the Timberwolves’ first matchup against Miami, Conley only had five assists in 28 minutes of action.
