Best NBA prop bets today (Kyrie Irving thrives as a passer vs. Spurs)

Even though there are only four games in the NBA on Tuesday night, there are still plenty of bets that you can place.

Sure, there’s always spreads, moneylines and totals to bet, but if one of those isn’t calling your name, betting props is a great way to attack the NBA.

The BetSided team is always sharing their favorite prop picks, and Reed Wallach and Peter Dewey have their favorites for the action on Tuesday:

  • Kyrie Irving OVER 5.5 Assists (-106)
  • Denver Nuggets 1Q Spread -2 (-110) vs. Portland Trail Blazers

Kyrie Irving OVER 5.5 Assists (-106)

Kyrie Irving has dished out six assists in both games without Kevin Durant out of the lineup with a knee injury, but more importantly he has 12 and 14 potential assists, respectively.

So, he’s handling the ball a ton and the Brooklyn Nets are getting clean looks off of it, they just aren’t falling just yet.

They now face the San Antonio Spurs, who have the worst defense in the league and allow the third most assists per game this season.

I think the Nets get some shots to fall and Kyrie puts together a complete stat line. – Reed Wallach

Denver Nuggets 1Q Spread -2 (-110) vs. Portland Trail Blazers

The Denver Nuggets have the best first quarter net rating in the NBA this season at +16.3, and I think they keep that going at home against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Denver has the best home record in the NBA at 19-3, and the Nuggets dominated Portland in their last meeting at Ball Arena.

The Blazers are just 19th in the league in net rating in the first quarter at -2.1, which is a huge drop off from where Denver is this season.

The Nuggets should be able to jump on the Blazers early in this matchup. – Peter Dewey
