Best NHL Odds for Every Playoff Game Today (Odds, Puck Lines and Totals for Thursday, April 27)

After a short two game slate on Wednesday night, we're back to three games set on Thursday and we're still seeking the first team to advance to the second round of the NHL Playoffs.

Both the Hurricanes and Bruins lost in their potential series-clinching games, so now the Toronto Maple Leafs have a chance to be the first team to advance. They hold a 3-1 series lead over the Lightning and puck drop at Game 5 in Toronto is set for 7pm et tonight.

The Maple Leafs are set as betting favorites to win their first series since 2004 tonight.

One series that can't be decided tonight is the Battle of the Hudson between the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils. After getting off to a dominating 2-0 start, the Rangers have dropped two straight games at Madison Square Garden and now the series returns to the Prudential Center with it all tied at 2-2.

To make matters worse, the Devils are slight favorites to take the 3-2 series lead tonight.

If the Maple Leafs can't close out their series tonight, then it's the Vegas Golden Knights who will be the next team that can be the first to advance to the second round of the NHL Playoffs.

They head back to Vegas tonight having won both games in Winnipeg, and are now set as sizable favorites to get the job done against the Jets. If they do advance, the Golden Knights will await the winner of the series between the Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings.
