For the first time since 2004, the Toronto Maple Leafs have won a playoff series.

After losing in the first round in six straight seasons, the Maple Leafs beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in overtime in Game 6 to advance to the second round.

Not only that, but their rival, the Boston Bruins blew a 3-1 series lead to lose in the opening round after a record-setting regular season. Luck is turning around for the Leafs almost nearly two decades of heart break and half a century since their last Stanley Cup.
