A moneyline bet means that you think one of the teams -- the Beavers (+800), for instance -- will win. It's that simple! If the Beavers win, and you bet $10, you'd get $90.00 back.
Betting against the spread can be a tad more complicated, but in certain situations, it can offer a bigger payout. For instance, if the Beavers are +15.5 underdogs in this game, the +15.5 means that, to "cover the spread," they must win, tie or fall short of a win by no more than 15 points. If the Bruins win by at least 16 points, then the Bruins will "cover" the spread and be the winning side of the bet.
Other bets you can make
The over/under, or total, is much simpler. You just pick whether the combined score of both teams in this game will be above or below 123.5 when all is said and done. Bet $10 on the over, with odds of -105, and you'll get $20 back if you're right!
