It all comes down to this. This weekend’s Tour Championship marks the final FedEx Cup Playoffs event, and on Sunday afternoon a FedEx Cup champion will be crowned.

As mentioned above, the format this weekend is unique to this event. There are only 30 players eligible and there will be no cut.

The event is also using the FedEx Cup starting strokes system.

Players will enter the event with a certain stroke amount given their position in the FedEx Cup standings, and combined with their score over 72 holes, whoever has the lowest amount at the end of the tournament will be crowned the winner.

The stroke system is progressive as you move down the field.

For example, Scottie Scheffler leads the standings and will start at 10-under par this weekend, second-place Viktor Hovland will start at 8-under par, third-place Rory McIlroy will begin at 7-under par, etc.

The odds don’t exactly follow the standings this weekend.

Scheffler is the favorite at +140, followed by McIlroy at +350, Hovland at +450, Jon Rahm at +800, and Patrick Cantlay at +2000.
