Betting giants Entain and Flutter to reveal impact of cost crunch on customers

Entain and Paddy Power's parent company Flutter will give half-year updates next week. They will reveal the impact of the cost crunch on customers. Both firms have shielded themselves from the shaky UK market with strong growth in the US. Fluttering's BetMGM business in US is expected to grow by more than 50%. Flutters also secured regulatory approval for its takeover of Italian group Sisal. The Italian business saw 58% sales growth and 51% earnings growth over the first half of this year. The shares of Flitters are about 30% lower over past three months.
