BETTING GUIDE: Who are the favourites to star after F1's summer break in Zandvoort?

Formula 1 is back from its summer break with the drivers readying themselves to go racing this weekend at Zandvoort. Max Verstappen will be looking to claim yet another win on his home turf after a strong first half of the year, but what do the odds say about his chances?

188BET’s odds are presented in decimal form: for every $1 wagered you would win the figure represented by the odds; so, if Verstappen is favourite at 1.50, you would win $1.50 for every dollar bet.

The odds for the win

Following on a run of 10 wins in the opening 12 races, Verstappen is once again considered the huge favourite to take his 11th victory of the season – which would see him tie Sebastian Vettel’s record of nine successive wins.

His team mate, Sergio Perez, will be looking to notch his first victory since Azerbaijan, and he is the second favourite to claim the win this weekend ahead of seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton.

  • Max Verstappen 1.25
  • Sergio Perez 11.00
  • Lewis Hamilton 15.0
  • Lando Norris 17.0
  • Charles Leclerc, Oscar Piastri 26.0
  • Carlos Sainz, Fernando Alonso, George Russell 34.0
  • Esteban Ocon, Lance Stroll, Pierre Gasly 301
  • Alex Albon, Daniel Ricciardo, Kevin Magnussen, Logan Sargeant, Nico Hulkenberg, Valtteri Bottas, Yuki Tsunoda, Zhou Guanyu 601

The odds for who will be fastest in qualifying

Verstappen has won from pole position in Zandvoort the last two seasons, and the odds see him as the favourite to start from the front of the grid this weekend. On this occasion, McLaren’s Lando Norris is seen as the likeliest challenger to the Dutch driver.

Hamilton and Charles Leclerc are the only two non-Red Bull drivers to take pole position this season, and while the Briton is third in the odds to do the same this weekend, the Ferrari driver is down in sixth behind Perez and Oscar Piastri.

  • Max Verstappen 1.40
  • Lando Norris 9.00
  • Lewis Hamilton 10.0
  • Oscar Piastri 17.0
  • Sergio Perez 19.0
  • Charles Leclerc 21.0
  • George Russell 26.0
  • Carlos Sainz, Fernando Alonso 41.0
  • Pierre Gasly 101
  • Alex Albon, Esteban Ocon, Lance Stroll, Nico Hulkenberg 126
  • Daniel Ricciardo, Kevin Magnussen, Valtteri Bottas, Yuki Tsunoda, Zhou Guanyu 151
  • Logan Sargeant 251

The odds for a podium finish

Having finished in the top two in every race this season, Verstappen is seen as the favourite to stand on top of the rostrum once again this weekend, narrowly ahead of his team mate, Perez.

Norris and Hamilton are tied for third in the odds ahead of Leclerc, while Esteban Ocon – who finished on the podium in Monaco – is given an outside chance of finishing in the top three for the second time this season.

  • Max Verstappen 1.07
  • Sergio Perez 1.50
  • Lando Norris, Lewis Hamilton 2.20
  • Charles Leclerc 3.25
  • Oscar Piastri 4.50
  • Carlos Sainz, Fernando Alonso, George Russell 7.00

  • Alex Albon, Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly 101
  • Valtteri Bottas, Zhou Guanyu 151
  • Daniel Ricciardo, Kevin Magnussen, Logan Sargeant, Nico Hulkenberg, Yuki Tsunoda 251

The odds for the fastest lap

Verstappen has set the fastest lap six times already this season and the odds see him as the most likely candidate to do the same this weekend. Hamilton – who took the fastest lap last time out in Belgium – is seen as the second favourite behind the Red Bull driver.

George Russell took the fastest lap at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix and he is given the fourth best odds to do the same this weekend, while Zhou Guanyu – who set the quickest time at the season-opener in Bahrain – is considered a long shot.

  • Max Verstappen 1.65
  • Lewis Hamilton 7.00
  • Lando Norris, Sergio Perez 9.00
  • George Russell 15.0
  • Oscar Piastri 17.0
  • Charles Leclerc 21.0
  • Carlos Sainz, Fernando Alonso 26.0
  • Lance Stroll 67.0
  • Alex Albon, Esteban Ocon, Valtteri Bottas, Zhou Guanyu 101
  • Pierre Gasly 126
  • Daniel Ricciardo, Kevin Magnussen, Logan Sargeant, Nico Hulkenberg, Yuki Tsunoda 251

What are the odds for which team will take the most points?

Runaway championship leaders Red Bull took maximum points from the Belgian Grand Prix and the odds see them as the big favourites to score the most points this weekend in Zandvoort.

As they do battle for the podium places, McLaren and Mercedes are both considered second favourites to score the most points this weekend, ahead of rivals Ferrari and Aston Martin.

  • Red Bull 1.12
  • McLaren, Mercedes 10.0
  • Ferrari 17.0
  • Aston Martin 41.0
  • Alpine 151
  • Alpha Tauri 251
  • Haas, Williams 301
  • Alfa Romeo 501

The odds for a Safety Car appearing during the race

The odds see it as more likely than not that we see a Safety Car in Sunday’s race, following last year’s Grand Prix where it did make an appearance.
