After winning its third straight game on Saturday night in Williams-Brice Stadium, South Carolina will next welcome its in-state rival in Clemson to Columbia next week. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. and will be televised on the SEC Network.

In 2023, Clemson holds a 7-4 record with wins over Charleston Southern (66-17), FAU (48-14), Syracuse (31-14), Wake Forest (17-12), Notre Dame (31-23), Georgia Tech (42-21) and North Carolina (31-20) while falling to Duke (28-7), Florida State (31-24 in OT), Miami (28-20 in double OT) and North Carolina State (24-17).

On Sunday afternoon, the betting lines for Saturday’s rivalry matchup began to be released and the Gamecocks are sitting around a touchdown underdog. DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook have the Gamecocks as a 7.5-point underdog while Caesars Sportsbook has them as a seven-point underdog. Circa Sports released its early lines in a Tweet on Sunday afternoon and have the Tigers as a nine-point favorite with the over/under set at 51.5.

Offensively for the Tigers, they are averaging 30.4 points per game which is sixth in the ACC. QuarterbackCade Klubnikhas thrown for 2,480 yards, 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Running backs Phil Mafah and Will Shipley have tallied 805 yards and 718 yards, respectively. Mafah has scored nine times while Shipley has scored five times. Klubnik's top target this year has been wide receiver Beaux Collins who has caught 38 passes for 510 yards and three touchdowns. Fellow wide receiver Tyler Brown is right behind him with 479 yards and four touchdowns on 46 receptions.

Defensively, the Tigers are allowing their opponents to score 21.1 points per game which is fifth in the ACC. Clemson'sJeremiah Trotter Jr.and Barrett Carter are the team's top tacklers this season as they have recorded 82 and 54 stops, respectively. Trotter has also totaled 14.5 tackles for loss with T.J. Parker’s 9.5 tackles for loss being second on the team.

There are five Tigers who have picked off two passes this season including Trotter, Khalil Barnes, Wade Woodaz, Nate Wiggins and Kylon Griffin. The Tigers have tallied 13 interceptions and broken up 54 passes this season.
